WWE have already announced a number of matches featuring RAW, SmackDown and NXT stars and that left us wondering whether it would be possible for WWE to do a Team RAW vs Team SmackDown vs Team NXT match.
In case this is the way WWE decides to go forward, we took a look at 10 RAW and SmackDown Superstars who could represent their respective brands at the PPV.

#10 SmackDown – Shinsuke Nakamura
We start off our list with the WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura. Nakamura is one of several Superstars on this list who started their WWE career in NXT and he’s also a former NXT Champion.
Nakamura is one of the deadliest strikers in WWE and has an equally strong submission game. He’s definitely earned a spot on Team SmackDown at Survivor Series.
#9 RAW - Randy Orton
Unlike a lot of the names on this list, Randy Orton has no history with NXT. Orton is one of the most popular Superstars in WWE and the 14-time World Champion has to be in the running to be one of the Superstars to face Team NXT.
Orton recently led Team Flair at the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia and showed that he still has the ability to lead a team in a high-stakes match. Team WWE or Team RAW could definitely use his experience at Survivor Series.
#8 SmackDown – Braun Strowman
The next Superstar from SmackDown on FOX on our list has to be the ‘Monster Among Men’. Braun Strowman had a disappointing night at Crown Jewel, losing to Tyson Fury on the latter’s WWE debut. Strowman lost by countout and despite hitting Fury with the Running Powerslam after the match, it was still a bad night for the RAW Tag-Team Champion.
Survivor Series could be the perfect chance for WWE to build Strowman back up. The ‘Monster Among Men’ is one of the most popular Superstars on the SmackDown roster and should be in the world title scene instead of meandering in the middle of the card.
#7 RAW - Drew McIntyre
Drew McIntyre has been impressive since his return from injury. Despite an impressive showing at Crown Jewel, he still ended up on the losing side in the Team Hogan vs Team Flair match. There were rumors before Crown Jewel that McIntyre was being considered for a Universal Championship shot, but that was before Seth Rollins lost the title to The Fiend.
With a title shot out of the way, a spot on Team RAW could be a good position for McIntyre to be in while creative figure out what to do with him next.
#6 Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns is currently embroiled in another feud with Baron Corbin but that doesn’t mean that the former captain of Team Hogan can’t take some time out of whooping Corbin to be on Team SmackDown at Survivor Series.
The ‘Big Dog’ recently showed his leadership abilities at the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia where he led Team Hogan to victory over Team Flair. Reigns is at the top of his game right now and knows what it’s like to be in big matches in pressure situations. If anyone can help get Team SD over the line, it’s him.
#5 RAW - Seth Rollins
The former Universal Champion has made some controversial statements regarding fans recently, including calling them fickle for criticizing the finish of WWE Hell In A Cell. Fans have been steadily turning on Seth Rollins in recent months, especially since HIAC. Rollins even got booed by a certain section of fans at Crown Jewel where he lost the Universal Championship to The Fiend.
Despite this, Rollins needs to be a part of Team RAW at Survivor Series. Rollins was the first-ever NXT Champion and his WWE career will always be intertwined with the black and yellow brand.
Triple H has already asked Rollins to be a part of Team NXT. Even though Rollins refused, there will still be a hint of tension as he takes the ring as a part of Team RAW.
#4 SmackDown – Daniel Bryan
Former WWE Champion Daniel Bryan is another star from the blue brand who has to be on Team SmackDown. Bryan is one of the best wrestlers on the planet today and has been on the blue brand since coming out of retirement.
Bryan also faced and lost to NXT Champion Adam Cole on last week’s episode of SmackDown, meaning that the Planet’s Champion will also have a point to prove at Survivor Series.
#3 RAW – Kevin Owens
Kevin Owens put NXT on the map when he debuted on the main roster and laid out John Cena, while still being NXT Champion. Owens went on to beat Cena in their first match before losing the following two. Despite this, a star was born and Owens has gone on to win multiple titles on the main roster including the WWE Universal Championship.
As someone who has done a whole lot of nothing recently, Owens is another Superstar who could easily slot into the battle with NXT. Owens is an accomplished main roster star now and one who knows what makes NXT tick.
#2 SmackDown - The Fiend
The one Superstar who has to be on Team SmackDown no matter what is the WWE Universal Champion, Bray Wyatt. The Fiend beat Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel to win the Universal Championship and bring it over to SmackDown with him.
Wyatt is probably the most popular Superstar in WWE right now and as a former product of the black and yellow brand himself, is the perfect man to lead the blue brand into battle.
Although it looks like Daniel Bryan is set to be the next man to challenge The Fiend, I’m sure WWE could find a way to force them to coexist for one night for the greater good of the blue brand.
#1 RAW – AJ Styles
Another WWE Superstar heavily involved with the battle between the main roster and NXT is WWE United States Champion AJ Styles.
AJ Styles and The OC were attacked by the Undisputed Era on RAW before invading NXT to get their revenge and take the war straight to the black and yellow brand. After taking out the Undisputed Era, Styles and The OC faced Tommaso Ciampa, Matt Riddle and Keith Lee inside the NXT Arena.
Styles and The OC have been at the forefront of the war with NXT and Styles looks like a certainty to be on Team RAW along with Seth Rollins.
