RELATED: Biggest Fixes Deathloop Needs
Anyone looking for more to do once they reach the ending should read the list below for some direction. Even though Deathloopis not open-world in the traditional sense or an RPG, there is plenty to do off the beaten path in Blackreef. In modern games, seeing the credits rarely means the fun is over.
10 Grind Visionary Kills
Most Visionaries have Slabs players collect from their dead bodies. Each of these powers can be upgraded by gathering the same Slab. To obtain every upgrade for each Slab, players should spend some time killing the visionaries several times over.
Like getting the Slab for the first time, each upgrade needs to be infused in order to keep it through each loop. Once players know the routines of each Visionary, they can be killed quickly.
9 Play As Julianna
Deathloop’s unique multiplayer component has players invading each other’s games as Julianna. She has her own progression system and earns more weapons and powers as players use her more.
After beating the game is the perfect time to start playing as her more, especially since players should be familiar with the map already. It can be a while to wait for matches at times, but the cat and mouse game is intense and an experience not found in many other games.
8 Hunt For Trophies
By the end of the game, players will only have scratched the surface of trophies that come with the PS5 version. There are a few that cannot even be obtained until completing the game at least once.

To extend replayability, players should look through the trophy menu and see which trophies they are interested in going for. Some are simple, while others will take time and patience. Fortunately, none of them can be permanently failed, nor do they require a lot of time to retry.
7 Play The Other Arkane Games
Arkane Studios has a long, illustrious history, but the developer has mostly remained a cult darling. Deathloop already seems to have more buzz than the studios’ other titles and many who are playing it now might not have played prior games from the developer.
Any player who has not dived into games like Prey, Dishonored, and Dark Messiah of Might and Magicshould take the time to explore these if they liked Deathloop.
6 Get The Other Endings
The game is nice enough to simply let players explore Blackreef in the same loop format after reaching the credits. This means players can immediately do the final loop again. They should take advantage of this to do the other endings.
The endings are determined by a choice in the final moments, so it is easy to see them all. Admittedly, none of the endings are particularly satisfying and only time will tell if one of them is chosen as the canon ending.
5 Do The Arsenal Leads
The best weapons in Deathloop are tracked in the menu by Arsenal Leads. These guns are unique and generally the most useful in their respective classes. The Arsenal Leads themselves are generally puzzles and secrets players have to unlock.
Even though players might have already beaten the game, it is satisfying to accomplish these tasks simply for the satisfaction of solving the puzzles. The guns also help when fighting invading players.
4 Hear All Of Julianna’s Dialog
Every time Colt enters a different area he has a small exchange with Julianna. By the end of the game, most players are unlikely to have heard everything the characters have to say to each other. In addition to the snappy writing, every bit of dialog contributes to their characterization and reveals more about Blackreef and the Visionaries.
There comes a point when Julianna says she has said all she has to say to Colt and then stops. Players should keep playing at least until they hear all of their exchanges.
3 Find Other Ways To Kill The Visionaries
Deathloop is all about finding different ways to accomplish objectives. The goal is to kill all the Visionaries within a single day, and there are several ways to dispose of each of them.

The game plainly lays out where each one is, but there are plenty of secrets within the areas that give players access to news of killing each target. The reward is always the same in-game regardless of how Colt kills a Visionary, but the creativity of the kill is its own satisfaction.
2 Speed Run The Final Loop
Players would be surprised at how much faster they can accomplish an objective in a video game once they know exactly what to do. With this in mind, it is fun to see just how fast one can do the final loop within the game.
After finding the optimal path to the targets and memorizing enemy patrols, players can zoom through levels with ease. One does not need to break the game to kill all the Visionaries fast.
1 Just Explore
There are four districts that change depending on the four separate times of the day. This makes for about 16 levels. Each of these is filled with little details not tracked by the Leads within the menus.
Players should just take the time to explore each of these more thoroughly and appreciate the details. Most guards have unique dialogue and actions players miss if they are just focusing on objectives. The NPCs’ routines sometimes shine a light on the game’s humor.
Deathloop is out now for PS5 and PC.
